Christina’s Update

It is Pre-Christmas time here in Berlin and the mood in Germany is sombre. The government has collapsed – new elections are looming – cost of living is high – heating our homes with temperatures withering around O-1 °C is very expensive.

There is no “Christmas Joy” on the street or in the shops over here.

This may all change when the First Advent arrives on 1st December 2024. All over Germany the Christmas Markets, with all the old-fashion flair with Brat Wurst und Gluehwine are being installed. Already the cookies and roasted Goose are available (see photos below).

Looking forward to post my thoughts in the New Year.

Information

After 20 years in SEAFORTH and 20 years in MOSMAN, FACETTI Jewellery was forced to close its shop because of the proposed building re-development. We love our customers and we felt terrible that we were forced to close our doors.

On the other hand, it has given FACETTI time to re-think it’s future. We are looking to establish more a new Atelier style “FACETTI STUDIO” than a retail store. Our forte has always been the focus on customer communication by either sourcing the desired item from our world-wide suppliers or by designing and manufacturing that special piece of jewellery here in Sydney with our workshops.

Until now – we could not secure the right premises for our Studio – but there are options available only in the next year – 2025. So please be patient with us as we will notify everybody about a new premises.

We will be updating this information so please stay connected with us.
